James Roseman is an American writer based in Dublin, Ireland. He received his MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Bennington Writing Seminars, where he received an Alumni Fellowship in January 2025. His fiction can be found in The Winter Papers and Riddle Fence, among other publications. He is the author of two novels.
His second, When On High, is forthcoming from Verve Books (excl. US & Canada) in November 2026.
His first, Placeholders, was published by Verve Books worldwide (excl. US & Canada) in September, 2024. It was short-listed for The First Novel Award.
