James Roseman is an American writer based in Dublin, Ireland. He received his MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Bennington Writing Seminars, where he received an Alumni Fellowship in January 2025. He is the recipient of an Agility Award from the Arts Council of Ireland, and was short-listed for the 2023 Bridport Short Story Prize. He is represented by Edwina de Charnace at MMB Creative.
His first novel, Placeholders, was published by Verve Books worldwide (excl. US & Canada) in September, 2024. It was short-listed for The First Novel Award.
